Karen Alcaraz is a full time bilingual (Spanish & English) property manager assistant. Michael is a member in good standing with the National, California and Contra Costa Association for Realtors. A veteran, Michael served in E Co 51st Infantry and is a Charter Member of the Long Range Reconnaissance Association. Michael enjoys playing guitar, cooking, walking the dogs and most importantly, spending time with his family. Michael serves the community as a Commissioner on the Pleasant Hill Civic Action Commission and is the Membership Chair of the Rotary Club of Pleasant Hill. Michaels continuing education real estate designations include Senior Real Estate Specialist, Broker/Officer, earning a certificate from UC Davis in Green Building and Sustainable Design, LEED AP® from the Green Building Institute and the United States Green Building Council. He currently serves as 2022 President of the Contra Costa Real Estate in Motion (CCRIM), the Contra Costa Association of Realtors marketing/networking group. Michael also managed acquisitions for a commercial real estate developer specializing in sustainable design. His achievements include successfully marketing and managing hundreds of residential real estate transactions. This unique experience has proven to be invaluable to the clients he serves. Since 1984 he has spent 15 years in title and escrow, 20 years in residential property sales and 3 years in new construction with an emphasis on sustainable design.
